The Fat Blog - Day 3




I made it to the gym again - jeeeeeeez I can't believe how hard it was today, but I pushed myself and did 40mins cardio!  I wonder if I've got an knee joint left for tomorrow.  

To add to the effort and stress of today's gym workout I hadn't washed my gym kit from yesterday - no problem I've got 3 spare gym t-shirts, however I only have 2 spare pairs of gym trousers, neither of which I can fit into properly, so I was bulging blob again - fantastic!

No alcohol, lots of decaf tea and fruit.  I'm conscious from all of my previous dieting, weight losing, fitness gaining, what ever you want to call it, attempts that I mustn't starve myself, so I've made sure there's lots of fruit in the house, so if I do get hungry and a cup of tea doesn't cut it I can have a piece of fruit.


This is all OK at the mo because I'm working from home, but I want to get another job working out of the house and it's always when I change my routine that I lose focus or am not prepared with ready made, healthy food, or miss a gym practice that I start to put on weight again.  I've really got to concentrate hard on this and not lose focus.  Perhaps the photos will help!

The Fat Blog - Day 2


So I've made it to the gym for the second day running.  I decided to wear my gym kit to the sports centre, but it's a skin tight lycra number and obviously the current state of my physique means I bulge all over the place.  So I walked really, really quickly from my car to the changing rooms, trying to hide behind my sports bag the whole way!

It's the university gym and it's also the university holidays - this means NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE - hurrah!!!

So I just climbed on the cross trainer, put my head down and got on with it.  I was bright red and the sweat was dripping off me.  I have a minimum goal of 20mins on cardio machines - I managed 30 mins and then did some weights afterwards.

I'm eating lots of fruit and veg and ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL WHAT SO EVER!!!  That's quite hard for me.  I have a sneaky suspicion that my alcohol intake is the main cause of my weight gain.  I don't really binge eat, and we very very rarely have cakes, biscuits or other snack products in the house.  I just don't do enough exercise and drink more than is healthy.  

I'll have to go and wash my gym kit if I'm going to make it 3 days in a row to the gym!

The Fat Blog


Absolutely no energy or motivation, no enthusiasm for anything.
I am now the heaviest I have ever been in my life.
My back hurts, my knees hurt, my head feels stuffy, I just can't be bothered to do anything.  

I AM GOING TO THE GYM.  I've got to do something about the state that I'm in, even though I've no motivation to do anything.  It even hurts my bum just sitting down all of the time.

I MUST DO SOMETHING, this just can't go on.
